Super Bowl LX is almost here, and anticipation is soaring as Bad Bunny prepares to deliver a super show. Fresh off a career-defining night at the 68th GRAMMYs, the global superstar is now set to headline the Super Bowl halftime show for the first time on February 8.
Bad Bunny walked away from the Grammys with three awards, including album of the year for DeBí TiRaR Más FOToS, before stepping into what many see as a historic Super Bowl moment for Spanish-language music and Puerto Rican culture.
He will be among the few artists expected to perform primarily in Spanish on one of the biggest stages in American entertainment.
While the full setlist remains secret, the official Super Bowl halftime trailer released in January features Bad Bunny dancing to BAILE INoLVIDABLE, strongly suggesting it will be part of the show.
Fans also expect a performance rooted in Puerto Rican rhythms and pride, similar to his sold-out No Me Quiero Ir De Aqui residency.
Bad Bunny's influence spans six albums, including Un Verano Sin Ti, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana, and DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS. Songs like Tití Me Pregunto, DTMF, and BAILE INoLVIDABLE have crossed major streaming milestones, while collaborations like I Like It and La Canción remain fan favourites.
The announcement has sparked both celebration and backlash, with critics questioning his Spanish-language performances and political stances. Turning Point USA responded by announcing a counterprogram halftime show featuring Kid Rock.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell defended the decision in October 2025. "He's one of the leading and most popular entertainers in the world," Goodell said, adding the choice was "carefully thought through."
"I'm not sure we've ever selected an artist where we didn't have some blowback or criticism," he added.
Super Bowl LX will be held at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on Sunday, February 8, 2026, with the Seattle Seahawks facing the New England Patriots in the biggest night of American sport. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 PM ET / 3:30 PM PT.
The entire game - including Bad Bunny's halftime show - will be broadcast live on ESPN and Disney+, with full coverage available to stream from home.
