Tang, who appeared in court without legal representation, expressed remorse and requested the minimum fine, while prosecutors argued for a stricter sentence to serve as a deterrent. The court also warned of a four-month prison term if the fine was not paid, though Tang settled the amount immediately.
Following the verdict, he deleted the video and issued a public apology, promising to change his approach to content creation.
